We, that’s When Gourmet Hits the Streets, are the collaborative realization between Chef Christopher Cordero and entrepreneur Jet Santos’ wide-ranging adventures in the Filipino, American and international food industries.
In our first iteration we were as a local cafeteria/ eatery that catered mainly to blue-collar workers. It would take a drive for innovation, near boundless ambition, and a curiosity to immerse one’s self in international cuisines that evolved us into our current concept – a juxtaposition of serving Filipino cafeteria favorites made from locally sourced, hotel-quality ingredients while remaining at a realistically “down-to-earth” price point.
So, that’s where we are now…
And we’d like it to be known that while we’re operating at an extended capacity, all our past food services, including our line of international cuisines, are still available and fully customisable for all markets and tastes. Our lip-smacking menu consists of elevated gourmet burgers and classic Filipino dishes with a twist. With a superior level of food design and flavor play, our Executive Chef has been instrumental in elevating the quality of our menus. Our kitchen is also a playground of industry professionals who graduated from pioneer culinary schools.
We offer customized catering services for different tastes (Chinese, Japanese, Singaporean, Vietnamese, Italian, Mediterranean, etc.), budgets, and occasions (i. e., corporate events, concerts, other special occasions).
We are involved in menu planning with care, running your venue with precision, executing beyond expectation, and catering with heart, commitment, and flair.
We can also build your own cafeteria joint in the event venue for a seamless meal experience for all guests, staff, and organizers.
